Local Tips
One of Japan's three great gardens. The view of Okayama Castle framed by the garden's pine groves is a classic composition. The 'rice field' and tea field within the garden are unusual features — it's one of the only Japanese gardens to incorporate working farmland. Cross the river by rowboat ferry to Okayama Castle (¥100) for the combined experience.
