Built on a 132m rocky peak — take the ropeway up and walk down through the castle grounds for the full circuit. One of Japan's twelve original castle keeps with an outstanding interior. Dogo Onsen is 15 minutes by tram from the castle — the natural combination in Matsuyama. The view of the Seto Inland Sea on clear days stretches to Hiroshima.
