Local Tips

The Senjogahara Marsh boardwalk (8km loop) is Nikko's finest nature walk — the open wetland views of surrounding peaks and the Yudaki waterfall at the far end are spectacular. The Ryuzu Falls (dragon head falls) is accessible even in winter. Combine with Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji for a full highland Nikko day.
