Local Tips

The tiny shrine building wedged impossibly into a cliff recess 520m above the valley — no one knows how it was built in 849 AD. The trail up involves chains, ladders, and wooden footholds in the cliff face — appropriate footwear is mandatory (rental sandals included). The hike takes 40–60 min each way. Not accessible for those with fear of heights or mobility issues.
