Local Tips

The drive north from Nago through Yanbaru forest is as rewarding as the cape itself — watch for Okinawa rails crossing the road at dawn. The cape is completely exposed to wind and spray; a windproof layer is useful even in summer. No facilities at the cape — bring water.
