Location

Why Visit

  • 1

Come at sunset when the coral cliffs glow orange and the sea turns purple

  • 2

A 600 m clifftop loop path takes about 20 minutes; bring sunscreen — no shade

  • 3

The elephant rock is best seen from the southern lookout point, not the main platform

Local Tips

The cliff-edge path is unfenced in parts — supervise children carefully. The elephant rock arch is most photogenic from the southern viewpoint, not the main viewing platform. Sunset here over the East China Sea is one of Okinawa's finest free experiences.
